SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

1. Program Name and Description

Program: AFG Loan Updates, operated by Americas Funding Group ("AFG").

When you opt in, AFG will send you text messages (SMS/MMS) related to your mortgage loan application or existing loan, including loan application and status updates, requests for outstanding documents or loan conditions, appointment and callback reminders (such as signings, appraisals, and scheduled calls), and conversational replies from your loan officer to questions about your loan. This program does not send marketing or promotional messages.

2. How You Opt In

You consent to receive messages by (a) verbally agreeing when your loan officer reads the text-messaging disclosure during the loan application or intake process, (b) signing or initialing the separate SMS consent line on our written intake form, or (c) texting START or YES to an AFG number. Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of applying for or obtaining any loan, product, or service.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the status and activity of your loan.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.

5. How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. After you send STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent to that number under this program. To rejoin, reply START or YES.

7. Supported Carriers

Messages are supported on major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Your Responsibilities

You represent that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided and that you are at least 18 years of age. If you change or deactivate your mobile number, you agree to notify AFG promptly so that messages are not sent to a reassigned number.

9. Privacy

Your mobile number and text-messaging opt-in consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version at https://www.afgmtg.com/sms-terms. Continued participation in the program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
